Meta has released Style Sketch, an AI fashion app that suggests outfits from clothes users already own, in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand on iOS and Android, TechCrunch and Engadget reported1,2.

The listing was first noted by social media consultant Matt Navarra on Oct. 28, both outlets said1,2.

TechCrunch said the app can connect to Instagram to build a virtual closet from photos a user has posted, or add items by snapping a photo, recording a short video or uploading from the camera roll1.

Engadget said users can also link Facebook and Instagram, or skip social accounts and upload or photograph clothes instead2.

From that closet, Style Sketch proposes combinations, Engadget reported, including looks built around one item, outfits for the day's weather, or packing plans for a trip2.

Engadget said users can try combinations on a virtual model matched to body type and skin tone2.

TechCrunch noted rival wardrobe tools from startups such as Alta and from Google Photos1.

Engadget said Google's AI Search has offered virtual try-on since 2025, Google Photos added a Wardrobe catalog this year, and ChatGPT later added a photo-based try-on feature2.

Both reports place Style Sketch in a run of small Meta AI apps, including Waddle World, a Tamagotchi-style pet journal that The Verge and a Techmeme roundup said launched earlier in the Philippines1,2,3,4.

TechCrunch and Engadget said Meta has also shipped other standalone AI apps such as Pocket and Vibes, and they cited earlier reporting that Mark Zuckerberg told staff the company intends to release more apps as AI speeds development1,2.

It is not clear when or whether Style Sketch will expand beyond the three countries, or how Meta will use photos imported from Instagram or Facebook1,2.
