Rivian said Thursday that its new R2 electric SUV was the company’s best-selling vehicle in the third quarter of 2026, according to TechCrunch and The Verge^1,2.

The company did not disclose how many R2s it sold in the quarter¹. It raised the floor of its full-year delivery forecast to 67,000 vehicles, from a prior range of 65,000 to 70,000, TechCrunch reported¹.

Rivian had already said it built 19,751 vehicles and delivered 19,248 in the third quarter, about 45 percent more deliveries than a year earlier and up from 12,613 built and 12,194 delivered in the second quarter¹.
